If you really knew me you would know that:
I'm in love/obsessed with sharks but have an irrational fear of them.
So much so that I refuse to go in the ocean past my feet.
I can quote every Harry Potter movie almost word for word.
I've been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter more times than I can count. (I used to live next door)
I used to go to Target at least twice a day before moving to Germany.
Our Puggle, Monster, was a Christmas gift from the Hubby. She's been our baby for 6 years now.
My favorite shows right now are New Girl, The Office, Weeds, and Modern Family.
I think Adventure Time is the best cartoon ever made. Ever.
I hate when things aren't clean and organized.
I love cooking.
I refuse to wash dishes by hand. It makes me nauseous.
I was a co-manager at the #2 Forever 21 in the country,
then became a Visual Merchandiser so I could have more fun and be creative at work.
Now I work from home doing blog designs.
I have anxiety.
My goal in life is to live in a log cabin on a farm.
I've lived in Florida my entire life and had never left the country before our move to Germany.
The Hubs and I are high school sweethearts. It will be our 9th year together in September.
The day before our move to Germany, I ate so much alfredo at Olive Garden that I threw up.
I have never had long hair. I've had an asymmetrical faux-hawk, bright red hair, and every other color possible, but right now its the longest its ever been. and I refuse to cut it anytime soon.
I can make some of the ugliest faces you've ever seen.
I hate hearing the sound of my own voice on voicemails and recordings. I sound 4 years old.
Love love love Harry Potter, The Office, Target, too. Obsessed with sharks, like you have shark tooth necklaces and have stuffed sharks everywhere? Or like, you can't wait for Shark Week every year? What are we talking here. ;)

ReplyDeleteI don't like ding dishes by hand either.. but it grosses me out more if the water is cold, as opposed to hot! Gross!

i grew up in CA and am deathly afraid of sharks! that is so sweet about you and your husband, i've always liked the idea of high school sweethearts! (although i didn't meet my husband til college and wouldn't have it any other way :)

ReplyDeleteour house doesn't have a dishwasher so it is ALL by hand now. I can only wash with gloves now.

My sister is the *exact* same way about sharks. She loves the movie "Jaws" and has shark slippers and t-shirts and PJ pants and calendars and all manner of stuff - but she refuses to go into the ocean because she's terrified of sharks...So silly. :)

ReplyDeleteI have a love of sharks too! So much so that my tattoo on my back is Japanese ( I studied Japanese) for shark. I get a lot of huhs? on that one. :) I have swam with them three times. Once in the open ocean and have even held one!

That was my dream job. That's what my degree is in and it's so difficult to get into that field. Sigh
